SAMPLE BUDGETS

Full-Season Soybean and Double-Crop Budgets

(Table 1.12-5)

Because glyphosate-tolerant varieties of soybeans are assumed to be planted, the herbicide program consists of burndown application of glyphosate and one postemergence application of glyphosate. The weed management program for the small grains in the double crop budgets consists of a burndown application of glyphosate and a spring application of commonly used herbicides. The pesticides used for developing cost estimates are for example purposes only; a complete list of recommended pesticides can be found in Part 2.4: Soybean Pest Management and Part 2.5: Small Grains Pest Management.
