Matching forages to your needs
You should consider several factors when selecting pasture forages for your grazing program. These include the desired production of the grazing animal, forage yield, quality, and suitability for the soil site. Refer to Pasture Systems, below, to help you plan for adequate pasture availability and forage quality for various animal enterprises over the whole grazing season. Other variations can be used to suit the needs of individual producers.
